The B.T.C. was established in conjunction with the Sports Council to unify and oversee the development of Tae Kwon-Do in the United Kingdom.
	UK Sport Council Established by Royal Charter in 1996, UK Sport is the agency charged by the Government with responsibility for creating a strategy for developing high-performance sport in the UK. Our purpose is to lead the UK to sporting excellence by supporting winning athletes, world class events, and ethically fair and drug-free sport.
